This book was published in conjunction with the opening of the Aomori Museum of Art designed by architect Jun Aoki. For Aoki, architecture is not just a container but a site which is organically constructed by the visitors’ experience. Suzuki edited a sequence of 119 photographs to convey the experience of movement through space and the architectonics of time. The book includes articles by Jun Aoki, Noi Sawaragi, Hideyuki Nakayama, and the architectural details of the building.
